After the Easter songs at school, the kids had an egg hunt. Siblings were invited to take part as well, so Emery joined right in!

Kenton is on Spring Break this week, so last Thursday was his last day of school before Easter. Before they had their egg hunt they sang a few Easter songs for us parents. The last picture is the class doing the bunny hop.

The other day, I let Kenton go in and wake Emery up after her nap time was over. A few minutes later I walked in and found them playing in the crib. Kenton had thrown in several toys and dolls and then climbed right in himself.

Over the weekend the four of us went to Sara Arnovitz Park and did some hiking. It was muddy in places, so we let the kids wear their rain boots. Emery insisted on wearing her "gardening hat" to keep the sun out of her eyes. (Um....it was very cloudy, but if the sun had come out, she would have been ready!) We had a great hike!

More pics from our hike at the Fen last Friday. The kids had a great time getting out and about all weekend. Unfortunately it is cooler and rainy today. It looks like the weather may improve later this week.

Yesterday was a great day to get out and take a hike! Keesha had to work part of the morning and Kenton had a dentist appointment, but then we all went out for lunch. After a great meal at Chik-fil-A we took a hike at Siebenthaler Fen and had a great time.

Earlier this week, we went out and played in the backyard for the first time this season. It's like everything was brand new!

Have I mentioned that Emery is into hats?

We took several walks around our neighborhood last week. This time the kids wanted to take a doll/stuffed animal. Here are some pictures from one of those great walks.

Emery is going through a hat phase. She loves wearing hats, any kind of hats. In fact, she will make just about anything a hat. She decided to wear Kenton's John Deere hat and I was able to snap a couple of pictures. As you can tell, she had to put it on all by herself!

Kenton has one more basketball game this coming Saturday. He really enjoys playing and always looks forward to going to the practices and games. These are some pictures from his game last Saturday.

This reminds us of the book, "The Snowy Day" by Ezra Jack Keats.

The kids had NEVER seen a stick before this walk. Well, you would have thought so by the way they were acting.
