The weather was very nice over the weekend and we took advantage of it! On Saturday, Kenton had his last soccer practice/scrimmage for the Spring league. Later in the afternoon Keesha and I did some gardening while the kids played in the sprinkler. The pics above are from our trip over to Wegerzyn park in Dayton on Sunday. They have a kids garden area with tons of fun stuff to do. The kids had a great time!

Opening ceremonies of the Preschool Olympics, where each child had their own torch.
Yesterday at school, Kenton's class participated in the annual Preschool Olympics. Kenton was on team W (as in Mrs. W). They had several games including "pop the balloon with your bottom", "shoot the ball into the basket", "water balloon toss", and "tug of war". All the kids had a great time. Unfortunately the batteries in my camera died about 1/2 way through the games.

Emery is trying to get a closer look at the miniature horses.
There were four miniature horses in the barn.
Kenton taking a turn at mini-golf.
Emery decided it was easier to just hold the putter in one hand and use the other hand to put the ball in the hole/basket.
Keesha had to work on Saturday, so after the soccer practice the kids and I went to Aullwood Farm over in Dayton. They were having a Farm Babies Festival. There were lots of activities and some farm animals to see as well.

Yesterday at Kenton's soccer practice/scrimmage they only had three players on their team. They were only one short since they just play 4 on 4 on a short field with a smaller goal (and no goalie). They did really well, but were all really tired by the end of the scrimmage. They have always had at least 5 players, so they usually get to take a couple of rest brakes during the game as the coach subs people in and out.

Emery was quite fascinated by the elephant statue. We literally had to drag her away from it to get her to move on.
This Cheetah must be an adult, because kids never look directly at the camera.
Kenton watching the Cheetahs.
These are a few more pics from our trip to the Cincinnati Zoo. We had such a great time with perfect weather.
