When it is just three of us, I don't get as many pics of Emery because she is on my back!

Once we got to the boardwalk, I took Emery out of of the pack and let her walk.

Yesterday may have been our last day to get out and enjoy a trail without getting all bundled up. So we took advantage of the warm afternoon (it was in the 60's) and headed over to Sarah Arnovitz park to enjoy the trail.

Last Saturday, while Keesha worked, the kids and I went hiking at the Fen. The temperature wasn't too bad, but it was a little windy. There were 2 spots where the water covered the boardwalk, but luckily someone had laid down boards to make it a little easier to cross. Kenton and Emery both really like getting out and enjoying nature. Kenton is excited about the Fall weather and the leaves changing colors and falling off the trees!

My food is so bright I have to wear sunglasses!

Kenton has a dinosaur costume. It's for Halloween, but he wears it around the house most every day. As much as we paid for it, I think he probably should wear it every day for at least a year.

Edward took the kiddos to the Boonshoft Museum again last week, and much fun was had. We've definitely gotten our money's worth from our annual passes!
Kenton on his first day of school. He goes four mornings a week this year and really loves it, although he's usually completely exhausted when we he gets home.

Chick-fil-A restaurants are giving away a free chicken sandwich today to anyone wearing a sports team logo, so Edward and the kids got out their UK gear and headed out for a free lunch. I skipped the outing since I don't really like chicken. I'm supposed to be at home doing something productive while I have the place to myself.

We headed to Young's Dairy yesterday and had a great time. The kids did all the usual things--played on the tractors, fed the goats, and ate ice cream--and it was just as exciting as the first time we went. I love how serious Kenton looks in the picture on the tractor.

I walked by Kenton's room tonight while Edward was giving him a bath and saw this in the floor. How cute is that? Those are Emy's striped feet at the top of the picture. She wanted to pick up the dino and play with it, but I made her wait until I snapped a picture!

Xenia held its annual Railfest last Saturday, and although I had to work Edward and the kids went and had a great time. I love the little guy in the last picture checking Kenton out as he works on his craft!

Papaw and the kiddos when we were visiting last week. How cute is this picture? :)

Happy birthday to my big boy! Hard to believe he's four. I went to work at noon today, so we had the morning to celebrate. We went out for pancakes (chocolate chip for the b-day boy!), then came home and opened presents. Kenton got a dinosaur book, a "doctor's bag" set, and a marble racetrack. The marbles have been the big hit of the day. He and Emy were playing with them when I left, and he was still playing several hours later. When I get home at 9:00 tonight, he and I have a date for popcorn. :-)

Happy birthday, baby girl!

After dinner tonight we headed out to Sara Arnovitz nature preserve for a little hike. Despite playing at The Greene earlier today, both kids were pretty wound up and this seemed like a good way to get them tired enough for bed. It was a really nice evening to get out and do something and a good way to end the day.
We went to The Greene today and ate lunch at Noodles, played in the fountains, and then had some ice cream at Cold Stone. Not a bad way to spend the afternoon. :)

Edward and the kids went out to the Siebenthaler Fen today. I didn't get to go, but from looking at the pictures I can deduce that Kenton grabbed the camera and snapped a few pics, Emery picked her nose, they both ran around like wild monkeys, and then they made some funny faces for the camera. Looks like I missed a good time. :)
