Just north of Xenia there is a huge sunflower field that lots of people stop and take pictures of every year.  One day this summer when Keesha and Emery were out together they stopped for a photo shoot.

 Emery's first day of school was back in early September.  Although these first 2 pictures don't show it, she was really very excited about starting her last year of preschool!

 Kenton had his birthday party at a bowling alley this year.  Everyone seemed to have a great time!

 Years ago Keesha and I had gone to the Sears Tower, but things had changed a little bit since we've been there.  Now, it is officially called Willis Tower and then there's the skydeck.  The kids had no problem going out on it.  Keesha and I were just a little hesitant!

  Some more pics of famous sites in Chicago.  We all enjoyed Buckingham Fountain in Grant Park and The Bean (Cloudscape--or something like that is the real name) in Millinnium Park.

 In Chicago we went to Navy Pier and did a little shopping.  Everyone was happy with what they got from Build-A-Bear (even Kallen).

 The walk between our hotel and the museum campus was a short hike through beautiful Grant Park.  These are a few pics we took from Grant Park.

 Back in August we went to Chicago for a few days and had a great time.  One of the greatest moments for Kenton was FINALLY getting to go to the Field Museum and see Sue the T-Rex.  I thought it might be a disappointment because of the months (probably years) of anticipation, but it was not.  He was thrilled and had a great time checking Sue out and telling Emery everything he knew about it.

 Well it has been a few months, but once again I am going to try and get better about updating this blog.  These pic are from Emery's birthday back in early August.  She got a bag full of art supplies and was thrilled!
