The Xenia Library has a great kids program called "Books and Art". Each week there are stories for about 15 to 20 minutes and then a craft project to go along with the stories. After reading some stories that had "imaginative" illustrations and learning a little about surrealism, the kids used paint to dot a picture using their imaginations. Both of my kids had a great time with this craft project.
